Genazzi Roberto (Bellinzona)

I graduated from the then STS, now SUPSI, in 1988 and received the Maraini Prize and the Schindler Prize for the best media. From 1988 to 1993 I worked for several architecture firms in the canton of Ticino. In 1993, at the age of 28, I decided to start my own company. In the last few years I have done a lot of work, almost all of them for private customers, single houses (new or renovated), duplexes or apartment buildings, but also some public facilities such as bars and shops. I personally follow the work from design to delivery of the building. I also do real estate appraisals for some banks, public and private entities. I also deal with construction supervision for third parties.

The decision to open the studio turned out to be the right one as I could always enjoy the freedom that being independent offers. Freedom of time, options, opinions and ideas.

In the past few years I have met many people with whom I first developed an excellent working relationship and later a friendship. I speak of my employees, of the workers and also of my customers, with whom I have always stayed in contact even after work. Despite the undeniable difficulties, the profession of architect is a beautiful job that I do with pleasure, enthusiasm and professionalism!
